GSG-522 RIS sub-machinegun replica

The GSG-552 RIS sub-machinegun replica is a civilian replica of the MP5 clone produced by the GSG company was made of metal and high quality durable plastic material. Thanks to the Cybergun company license the replica bears the marking of the real firearm.

The materials used in the production of the replica correspond with the materials used during the production of the real firearm. The replica’s body, the outer barrel, the RIS rail set and a major part of the minor elements are made of metal. The stock, the pistol grip and the front grip equipped with the metal RIS rails allowing the attachment of a laser target marker, a tactical flashlight or a tactical grip  are made of plastic. The barrel is ended with a 14mm counter clockwise thread allowing to attach a sound suppressor.

The one-piece body hides a standard V.2 metal gearbox equipped with steel teeth. Thanks to the use of standardized internal parts meeting the Tokyo Marui standard it is possible to service and tune the replica up with ease. The BAXS system was used in this replica. It is a modified variant of the standard Hop-Up system that guarantees a stable and straight BB pellets trajectory.

The replica is equipped with a blow-back system imitating the backward move of the bolt which takes place while shooting a real firearm. This increases the realism of using the replica and guarantees additional feelings.

The small size, good balance and general compactness make the GSG-522 RIS a perfect replica  for close encounters and CQB type events. These factors are significantly risen by the ambidextrous firing-mode selector allowing for changing the firing more comfortable and easy both with the left and right hand. What is important, the front and rear mechanical aiming sights are fully adjustable.

The stock’s foot is equipped with a rubber cap increasing adherence while the pistol grip is specially profiled and equipped with an anti-skid texture facilitating to keep the replica in place while fast and dynamic encounters. The placing of the attachment points for the tactical sling allows to place the sub-machinegun  on the equipments and the muzzle velocity slightly exceeds the norms adopted by the CQB games.
