TopMax ERGAL CNC DMR High Stop Air-Brake piston and cylinder head set (green PAD)

Aluminium piston head equipped with a special brake type Air-Brake. The Air-Brake properly introduces the air collected in the cylinder and minimises the firing sound caused by the piston head hitting the bumper. In addition, it is equipped with a second gasket, acting as an additional seal and centring element for the piston head in the cylinder, minimising friction.

Specially designed CNC aluminium cylinder head from TopMax  with anti-vibration properties. The use of a quad_ring gasket ensures an excellent seal, and an interchangeable rubber PAD (dumper) allows the head to be tailored to the configuration. The head nozzle has a diameter of 4.7mm and has been rounded at the end to facilitate the nozzle and pusher.

The size and position of the holes in the head, together with the front rubber bumper, ensure a perfect fit to the walls of the gearbox shell. Additional milled holes in the upper part of the head reduce and mitigate vibrations created during piston impacts, and reduce the risk of breakage of the shell face.

The head has a replaceable PAD (dumper), and the rubber from which it is made helps absorb shocks and vibrations created by piston impacts. Its thickness, on the other hand, has been designed to provide excellent AOE (Angle Of Engagement) of the piston on the piston wheel. The diameter of the PAD assists in sealing with the cylinder and the innovative shape provides optimum airflow to the nozzle. Depending on the colour, they are recommended for different configurations.

The kit comes with a PAD colour GREEN - recommended for ROF of 10-20 k/s or M85-M95 springs.

Manufacturer recommends using the head with Air-Brake in configurations with ROFs up to 30rps.
