Airsoft version of the famous machine gun, which was designed in the 1950s to replace Browning rifles and, during the Vietnam War, became one of the symbols of that conflict.
Nowadays, the rifle features frequently in computer games and films. Rambo: First Blood, Full Metal Jacket, Helicopter on Fire and the Call of Duty series of games are just some of the many titles that have featured the M60 machine gun.
The presented model from A&K perfectly reflects the combustible counterpart of the M60, which is quite a treat for fans and lovers of historical airsoft guns, as the replica is heavy (over 7 kilos in weight), durable, sturdy, has markings, and in order to enhance the experience and appearance, the manufacturer added to the contents a belt with imitation ammunition in 7.62x51mm calibre.
An electric auto-loading box magazine for approximately 3,500 rounds has been added to the kit. Such a large amount of ammunition will allow long and effective barrage fire to nail the enemy, giving our unit the opportunity to attack the enemy from the flanks.
It is worth noting that the replica has the ability to quickly detach the barrel (as in its firearm counterpart). This is important as it makes the rifle much shorter, which will facilitate transport.
The folding bipod, which is height-adjustable, the flame suppressor, the reloading handle, the tripod mounting base, the sling eye with its base, the connecting elements, the buttstock and the barrel heat shield are all made of steel. Metal(ZnAl) is additionally used for the external barrel, sights (including a folding sight, which is horizontally-vertically adjustable), the breech cover flap, the barrel and the safety. A fixed buttstock, pistol grip and lower handguard are made of durable polymer.
The model is equipped with a potentiometer that will allow the user to change the rate of fire. The user can set the rate of fire from 10 to 15 RPS.
The interior of the replica hides a Gearbox equipped with a quick-change spring system. In addition, inside we will find CNC 18:1 gears, a piston with a full metal jaw, made of aluminium: nozzle, piston head, cylinder head.
