The Redox packs represent a new quality on the market of power sources for airsoft guns. Each cell is individually checked and manually paired with the others in the pack, which guarantees high quality and careful workmanship. Each also has an individual ID number, allowing the pack's entire history of use to be traced - therefore, all batteries are covered by the manufacturer's guarantee with a 100% replacement guarantee in the event of a manufacturing defect.

Redox lithium-polymer packs are characterised by a good weight-to-size ratio and a very long service life without any loss in current capacity.

Lithium-ion-polymer ( LiPo ) packs are the successors to the well-known lithium-ion ( LiIon ) packs. The main advantage of LiPo batteries is undoubtedly their capacity-to-size ratio. They are very small in size while retaining a very high current capacity, which makes it possible to select a suitable pack for practically every AEG replica. They do not have a memory effect. They can be charged very frequently, without first being discharged. Frequent charging is beneficial for this type of battery.

It is important to remember not to discharge a LiPo pack below 3V per cell and not to overcharge it above 4.2V per cell. Another advantage of LiPo packs is the low percentage of self-discharge. An unused pack loses about 3-5% of its energy per month. It is necessary to keep an eye on the pack, as during very long storage a discharge below the permissible minimum value ( 3V per cell ) and irreversible chemical reactions may occur, which may cause deterioration of the pack properties including its permanent damage, in extreme cases - ignition. An unused LiPo pack should have an average charge of approximately 70%.

When used correctly, the life of LiPo packs averages 500-700 cycles. An important aspect is the temperature at which LiPo packs can operate. Unlike other batteries, LiPo cells perform well at low temperatures; however, they should be charged at room temperature. To keep LiPo batteries in good condition, they should be balanced during charging using a service plug, which most LiPo packs have (a good LiPo charger has a built-in balancer).
