A replica of an AK-based tactical carbine manufactured by Arcturus. The AKMOD1 was made mainly from steel and a few elements from aluminium, a durable polymer and equipped with a number of amenities improving the performance of the rifle. Steel is used to make the base of the musket, barrel holder, cover, dummy lock, selector, barrel locking mechanism, trigger guard, barrel lock, magazine lock and dummy locking chamber. Aluminum is used for the barrel, 5-position stock guide, the barrel base, the gas tube with RIS rail, the M-LOK handguard and the flame damper. The magazine, stock with rubber feet and pistol grip with integrated trigger guard are made of polymer.

All parts fit together with great accuracy, the metal parts have been finished with a non-corrosive matt coating. The interior of the replica provides very good performance in the factory configuration and a good base for tuning.
