The gun was made using metal and polymer. The replica's lock is made of metal (the lock has an indentation at the top, which adds to the character of the whole and slightly reduces the weight of the lock itself), which has rough notches that make it easier to reload the model. Some internal parts and manipulators (e.g. the breech drop or the fire mode switch) and pins are also made of metal. Additionally, the magazine body is made of metal. The shell of the gun is made of durable polymer - under the barrel there is a mounting rail, which will allow the model to be equipped with a number of additional accessories such as torches or lasers. The pistol grip enjoys a pleasant ergonomic texture, which will make it easier to control the model in all conditions. The EC-1103 features a Blow Back system - each pull of the trigger causes a backward recoil of the breech, which tightens the cock, and the forward return movement introduces the round into the barrel. In a situation where there are no BBs in the magazine, the breech remains in the rear position. Its release is possible by pulling the breech drop lever.
