M870 “Pump Action” by PPS Airsoft is without a doubt on of the most realistic replicas in terms of use and operation among shotgun replicas available on the market.
The shotgun was made with the utmost care for details, its construction is 100% metal and steel made, aside from the adjustable stock and cradle - these were made from real wood. Well-fitting together parts and materials used in the production process make M870 by PPS Airsoft give out a truly solid impression as soon as it is in one’s hands. It is an experience of holding a live firearm, not an airsoft replica. Compact size and lack of stock make this replica ideal for games with CQB scenarios.
This is a gas powered replica (green gas) that ejects an empty shell after each shot. The reloading process is very smooth - the cradle along with the mechanism operate very smoothly and the sound that accompanies the process is also pleasant to the ear. The shotgun’s capacity is 4 shells + 1 in the chamber.
PPS has implemented a system known from, among others, Tanaka shotguns. Green Gas is loaded directly into each shell. Once loaded, the shell is loaded with BBs - its capacity is 3 BBs. Each squeeze of the trigger causes a firing of the entire content of a shell (3 BBS) and a subsequent reload causes the used shell to be ejected through the ejection port.
The set includes 2 shells for Green Gas made from polymer. We also have available in our offer sets of additional shells for Green Gas, 5 shells each.
The replica can also be powered with CO2 shells - made from aluminum, with a capacity of up to 6 BBs! The use of CO2 shells generates a greater muzzle velocity. In order to load a CO2 shell a special adapter is required, Green Gas can also be used.
ATTENTION: The manufacturer does not recommend loading orange, polymer shells with CO2. We are not responsible for possible damage to the replica resulting from usage of inappropriate power source.
