The P99 pistol replica is made mostly out of high-quality plastic. The plastic slide, after firing the last shot, locks in the rear position, like in the real firearm counterpart. It has grooves on the grip to improve the hand grip during reloading.

The replica on the back of the slide has a spring tension indicator. Like in the real firearm counterpart, you can feel it with your finger without taking your eyes off the target. Longitudinal grooves on the back of the slide make it easier to aim "along the barrel".
